About Allegiant Air
Allegiant Air operates on a highly unique business model in the airline industry. We focus on linking small-to-medium cities to premier vacation destinations using an "out-and-back" network structure. What does this mean for our crew? It means almost zero overnight layovers. If you love the idea of flying but hate living out of a suitcase, Allegiant offers the rarest of flight attendant jobs: the ability to fly the line and be home in your own bed every single night.
Job Summary
As an In-Flight Team Member, you will operate flights exclusively within our point-to-point network. You are the face of our low-cost, high-value brand, responsible for ensuring passenger safety and driving inflight revenue. You will conduct quick turns at destination airports and return to your base at the end of your shift. This role requires high energy, a sales-driven mindset, and a passion for making leisure travel accessible and fun.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety & Compliance: Lead all FAA-mandated safety demonstrations, enforce seatbelt and carry-on regulations, and manage any in-flight medical or security emergencies with absolute authority.
- Inflight Sales & Commission: Take charge of our onboard retail experience. You will actively promote and sell snacks, beverages, and premium merchandise, earning direct commissions on your sales to boost your take-home pay.
- Rapid Turnarounds: Coordinate with ground crews to clean and reset the cabin rapidly between flights, ensuring our strict on-time performance metrics are met during short gate times.
- Customer Experience: Provide a welcoming, vacation-ready atmosphere for passengers who are often traveling for their one big family holiday of the year.
Benefits & Lifestyle
- The Ultimate Aviation Lifestyle: "Day trip" flying schedules that allow for unparalleled work-life balance compared to traditional airlines.
- Commission-Based Earning: Supplement your hourly flight pay with unlimited commission potential on in-flight sales.
- Travel Perks: Free standby travel for you and eligible dependents on the Allegiant network.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old with a High School diploma or GED.
- Sales or retail experience is highly preferred due to the commission-based nature of our service model.
- Ability to pass a 4-week rigorous safety training program.
